Product Marketing Manager

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Amla Commerce is a global software company that has grown out of the belief that ecommerce software should enable sustainable growth. Amla has two products, Artifi Labs and Znode. Artifi is an ecommerce product customization platform that allows shoppers to personalize, customize and configure products. Znode is an enterprise, B2B ecommerce platform with a rich set of built-in features to easily manage content, site search, product information, and multi-store functionality.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Product Marketing Manager at Amla Commerce, you will play a pivotal role in bridging product management teams and our customers and internal sales and marketing teams. The Product Marketing Manager will play an important role in executing go-to-market strategies for our ecommerce software products, ensuring they resonate with our target audiences and align with market demands. In collaboration with sales, product management, and marketing teams, this position will  spearhead product releases, product positioning, competitive battlecards, market research, personal development including key buying decision criteria, as well as overall marketing strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for product releases and launches, collaborating closely with product management to ensure alignment with product capabilities and market needs.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the sales teams to equip them with the necessary tools and messaging, enabling effective product promotion and customer engagement.
  • Lead the creation of marketing plans that highlight the unique value propositions of Amla Commerce’s products, driving awareness, and adoption across targeted vertical markets.
  • Execute product positioning across all content including website, newsletter, social media and more. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless product development, launch, and post-launch activities.
  • Craft compelling product messaging and positioning documents that resonate with our target audiences and differentiate Amla Commerce in the marketplace.

MUST-HAVES FOR THIS GIG:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles, with a proven track record in product marketing, product positioning, marketing strategy development, and executing successful product launches.
  • Extensive experience working with ecommerce platforms, content management systems, or product information management solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative and effective marketing plans that drive product awareness and customer engagement.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the capacity to turn market insights into actionable marketing and product strategies.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with sales teams to support product promotion and customer acquisition efforts.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of crafting and conveying compelling product narratives to various audiences. Business acumen, writing skills, and content editing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or a related field.

NICE-TO-HAVES FOR THIS GIG:

  • Previous experience in ecommerce software or SaaS marketing roles.
  • A technical background, offering a deeper understanding of the products, markets and customer needs.
