Amla Commerce is recruiting an Intern Copywriter. The position is responsible for writing, editing and proofreading blog posts, webpages, sell sheets, and various other types of content. Delivering outlines and drafts of content by deadlines is a primary measurement point of success in this position. Having a willingness and curiosity to grasp new concepts and translate them to written content will be a daily responsibility. While an understanding of storytelling is encouraged this is not a creative writing position.
The Intern Copywriter as part of the marketing team and will assist with other duties including understanding researching industry competitors, industry literature and subject matter related to Amla Commerce products. This position will occasionally serve a cross-functional capacity and work closely with product team members, account managers and leadership in development of high-level messaging and strategy. This is a part-time, hourly position.

Must-haves for this gig:
- A candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadline.
- Experience with enterprise-level software, ecommerce and search engine optimization is helpful but not required, just a desire to produce seriously impactful content.
- An excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, and sentence construction is desired.
- Candidates should be a full-time student pursuing a degree in journalism, public relations, and/or marketing.
